SCUBA Programs
The Grand Wailea has the only resort-designated SCUBA training pool in Hawaii. We offer complimentary pool lessons to first-time divers (12-years of age or older) at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm daily for hotel guests. Our professional instructors can also escort you on one of four ocean dives tailored to novice or certified divers. Certification classes start everyday for open water, advanced, rescue, dive master and seven specialty courses. Visit or 5 Star Scuba website for more details.

Aqualani Beach Club
As part of the Wailea Beach Club, guests enjoy unlimited use of paddleboards, kayaks, snorkel gear and boogie boards. Four-day and seven-day rates are available.

Join us on our daily snorkel excursion. The tour starts along the southern coast with fantastic views of Haleakala and neighboring islands. Along the way share fun facts about local history and the local eco-system. You will see some of the best snorkeling that Maui has to offer. You might see some surprise visitors – dolphins, manta rays, whales and even more. And don’t fret, we’ll always see turtles.
